The company was founded in 1994 as a family-run garden maintenance business and have since grown into a multi award-winning limited company working on many large, high value projects across Dorset and Hampshire. Wycliffe Landscapes is one of only a handful of BALI (British Association of Landscape Industries) registered contractors in the region who have been awarded a Certificate of Recognition of Continued Quality Standards from BALI.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.

  • Manage and maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and functionality.

  • Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Sort and distribute incoming mail, emails, and other correspondence.

  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems, ensuring documents are organised and easily accessible.

  • Assist with scheduling meetings and appointments, including coordinating calendars.

  • Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations as needed.

  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing, expense tracking, and data entry.

  • Assist in organising company events, meetings, and workshops.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an office administrator, administrative assistant, or in a similar role.

  • Proficient in using office software and equipment, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and office management tools.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.

  • Proactive and self-motivated with a positive attitude.

  • Discretion when handling confidential information.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with bookkeeping or basic accounting tasks.

  • Previous experience in a similar industry or field.


Working Schedule: Flexible 10/15 hrs a week (working week Mon-Fri)

Hourly rate: £11-15 hr (depending on experience)
